Young & Free is a children’s and young people’s wellbeing and activity hub offering creative workshops, social connection, and mental wellbeing support in a safe, welcoming space.
We provide accessible programmes for children and young people who want to try something new, meet others, build confidence, or simply enjoy fun, structured activities in their community. No referrals. No thresholds. Just open access support designed with young people in mind.
Workshops designed to support wellbeing, creativity and confidence
Throughout the year, we deliver a range of youth workshops and wellbeing programmes that encourage creativity, connection, and personal growth. Activities include creative arts, group experiences, and wellbeing-focused sessions that help young people build confidence, develop new skills, and improve their emotional wellbeing.
Our workshops are open to all children and young people, regardless of background or circumstance. Whether a young person is thriving, feeling isolated, or going through a challenging time, Young & Free provides a supportive environment where they can feel included and valued.
Crystal Bonsai Tree Workshop

Create your own beautiful crystal bonsai tree in this hands-on workshop that encourages creativity, focus, and self-expression. Participants will leave with a unique handcrafted piece to take home.
Diffuser Crystal Bracelet or Anklet Workshop

Create a crystal diffuser bracelet or anklet using lava stones that can hold essential oils. A creative workshop blending wellbeing and self-expression.
Winter Wellness Workshop

A fun and calming school holiday experience featuring yoga, movement, mindfulness, creative activities, breathwork, and sound healing. Designed to help primary school-aged kids build confidence, connection, and calm.
Crystal Bracelet or Key Chain Workshop

Design your own crystal bracelet or keychain/phone charm using beautiful crystal beads. A fun and creative workshop to express your unique style.
Teen Sound Bath
